Coca‑Cola and Planet Ark team up to help Aussies recycle more and recycle better

Most Australians love recycling and do a good job – if there’s access to the right information.

That's why Coca‑Cola has teamed up with Planet Ark on National Recycling Week since 2019 to help Aussies understand what, how and where to recycle.

Coca‑Cola South Pacific has been a proud partner of Planet Ark’s National Recycling Week since 2019, helping to inspire Australians to recycle more, recycle better, and keep valuable materials out of landfill.

Established in 1992, Planet Ark is one of Australia's most respected and trusted environmental organisations, focussed on solutions and making positive environmental actions accessible to everyone.

Planet Ark established National Recycling Week in 1996. Held annually during the second week of November, the initiative promotes the waste hierarchy — reduce, reuse, recycle — to help ease pressure on finite resources.

Planet Ark works with individuals, community groups, schools, businesses and government to provide the tools and resources needed to educate their networks and run local National Recycling Week events.

Adam Culley

“Coca‑Cola has been a long-time supporter of Planet Ark’s National Recycling Week, partnering with us to raise awareness of how Australians can recycle better. The Coca‑Cola Recycling Drive takes that further, showing how Container Deposit Schemes can benefit the environment while directly supporting the charities and community groups people care about most,”  said Adam Culley, Co-CEO, Planet Ark.
Join the Cycle in 2025 and keep reducing, reusing, repurposing, recycling and more at home and as part of your community.
